Rebates	Eligibility
STC’s	Available to all households in a multi-dwelling building
Vic Gov solar rebate for apartments. Up to $2,800 per apartment (up to $140,000 per property) available until Tuesday 30 June 2027 or until all rebates are exhausted.	Rebates will be provided to Victorian Owners Corporations (OCs) with up to 50 occupiable lots. To be eligible, your OC must: be a ‘tier three Owners Corporation’ or ‘tier four Owners Corporation’, as defined by the Owners Corporations Act 2006 (Vic) – this refers to OCs that consist of 3 to 50 occupiable lots and are not a ‘services only Owners Corporation’ not have previously received funding under the Solar for Apartments Program.
Moonee Valley solar for apartments feasibility assessment rebate. Up to $1,000 for building assessment report to support installation.	Available to all households in a multi-dwelling building
Moonee Valley solar for apartments installation rebate. Up to a total of $5,000 for building towards cost of panel installation.	Available to all households in a multi-dwelling building.

All prices in the table include GST.

Please note: all prices in the table are based on a standard installation of the solar energy system – the final cost of your installation will be provided in a free, no obligation quote. The final cost depends on your specific circumstances, such as double-storey homes, steep roofs, any additional cabling, switchboard upgrades, split arrays, microinverters due to shading and whether you take up the Victorian Government no interest loan.

* Base price: Price includes the Australian Government Small Scale Technology (STC) financial incentive.**Base price with Victorian Government solar rebate and loan: Price includes the Victorian Government $1,400 solar rebate and $1,400 optional, no interest loan. The rebate doesn’t require repayment, however the loan is to be repaid over 4 years or can be repaid sooner. If paid off over four years, the monthly repayment is less than $30 which is usually less than electricity bill savings.Check Solar Victoria for full eligibility criteria.

There are also Victorian Government solar rebates for rental properties.

***Moonee Valley multi-dwelling rebate price: this price includes take up of both the Victorian Government’s $1,400 rebate and $1,400 no interest loan. Moonee Valley City Council offers the following rebates for eligible buildings who have solar PV systems installed through the Energy Upgrades program.

Up to $1,000 for building assessment report to support installation

Up to a total of $5,000 for building towards cost of panel installation

Note: The Moonee Valley multi-dwelling rebates are limited to one report and one installation rebate per building.

Warranties

Jinko solar panels come with a 25-year product warranty, the Goodwe inverter has a 10-year warranty and the whole system has a 7 year installation warranty.
