The Moonee Valley Home Energy Upgrades Program makes it easier and more affordable to improve the energy efficiency of your home. 

Through the Program, you can access free, trusted advice, good quality products, and accredited suppliers. Generous rebates and stackable incentives are also available to help reduce the upfront cost.  

Home energy upgrades can help you reduce your energy bills, improve the comfort and energy performance of your home, and make the switch from gas to efficient electric appliances.  

Moonee Valley City Council has partnered with energy experts Yarra Energy Foundation to help you understand your options and choose the upgrades that are right for your home.  

Upgrades available through the program include: 

• Insulation 
• Draught proofing 
• Rooftop solar 
• Rooftop solar for apartments
• Induction cooktops 
• Reverse cycle heating and cooling 
• Hot water heat pump systems
