Please note: all prices in the table are based on a standard installation of a heat pump hot water system, including decommissioning and removal of an existing ground mounted hot water tank. The final cost of your installation will be provided in a free, no obligation quote based on your specific circumstances, such as any additional wiring, the proposed location of the new hot water system, any need for a new concrete base, switchboard upgrades etc.
* Base price: price includes the Australian Government Small Scale Technology (STC) financial incentive. Price also includes the Victorian Energy Upgrades discount based on replacement of a gas hot water system. Note that the price may vary depending on the type of hot water system being replaced.
** Base price with Victorian Government hot water rebates: price after Victorian Government $1,000 hot water rebate for Aquaplus and Aquatech systems or $1,400 for Reclaim systems (Australian made). To qualify, household income must be below $150,000 per year, the property value must be under $3 million, and other eligibility criteria must be met. *** Mornington Peninsula rebate price: this price includes take up the Victorian Government’s $1,000 rebate. In addition, Mornington Peninsula Shire offers the following rebate for eligible residents who have products installed through the Energy Upgrades program:
- $200 rebate for hot water systems
Note: Mornington Peninsula rebates are limited to one rebate per household. Households installing multiple home energy upgrades through the program will only receive a rebate for one upgrade.
